
Easy, tasty, and only using what was on hand, plus that Kiki's taste Bud Terminator magic! This is not a fancy crab cake recipe but it is one that is going to get you pretty jazzed for the flavor.
Here's what we did:
- 1 pound crab meat (lump)
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- 1.5 TBSP Kiki's Taste Bud Terminator ( may need more)
- 2 TBSP olive oil
- Bread Crumbs (gf or regular)
- Flour (gf or regular)
- 3 TBSP Egg whites
- 2 TBSP mayo
- 1 TSP Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Cup all-purpose flour (gf or regular for dusting crab cakes before frying)
- Dash salt to taste
- Dash pepper to taste
MIX:
- Crab, mayo, breadcrumbs, sprinkle of onion and garlic powder, Kiki's, egg whites, Worcestershire, dash of salt and pepper, in. bowl with spatula and form patties
- In a second bowl add the flour and coat both sides of patties
- Heat stove to high heat with 2-3 TBSP olive oil. Be sure oil is hot before dropping in cakes.
- Heat til cakes are golden brown on both sides, plate and serve
